Mimosa Studios is a cozy little paint your own pottery studio on Alberta Street in Portland, Oregon. The studio wanted an SEO optimized, easy to update site. Using WordPress, a custom theme, and a few plugins, the site showcases the studio’s brilliant pottery creations in a lightbox photo gallery.
The task of updating the event calendar has shifted from a cumbersome workflow of sending updates to a webmaster who makes the changes and then transfers the updated file to the webserver (yuck) to a staff member simply logging into WordPress, clicking an “edit” button and typing in the changes and clicking save (sweet)!
